COVID-19 ANNOUNCEMENT

UPDATE (July 7, 2020): Empower House has REOPENED and has resumed normal business hours, open Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9am-3pm. We are taking precautions to protect our members, staff, volunteers, and community. Please contact us via phone at 563-232-1002 or email at hello@empowerhouseqca.org with any further questions.

UPDATE (March 29, 2020): Empower House will remain closed until further notice due to the safety of our staff, volunteers and members during these uncertain times while our world deals with the COVID-19 pandemic. Thank you for your patience.

To our community:

Due to recent Centers for Disease Control (CDC) recommendations to avoid gatherings for at least 15 days, we unfortunately have had to make the decision to close Empower House until March 31, 2020. We will be monitoring the CDC guidelines and update members as we know more.

We will also have to postpone our open house originally scheduled for March 28, 2020. We will announce a new date for the open house after we reopen the Clubhouse. This was a difficult decision to make, as we are eager to continue the work being done at Empower House. However, it is our responsibility to follow recommendations from the CDC in trying times like this.

In regards to other upcoming events, we are closely monitoring recommendations at both the national and state levels, as well as receiving information from Clubhouse International as to the best course of action. We encourage members with questions or concerns to reach out to us.

Our sense of community does not diminish, and we look forward to seeing you when we reopen and at our open house at a later date. Thank you for your support and understanding through these uncharted times.
